The story

In the city of Verona, two families, the Montagues and the Capulets, are locked in a bitter feud. Romeo, a Montague, falls instantly in love with Juliet, a Capulet, at a masked ball. The young couple marries in secret, but a street fight leaves Romeo's friend dead and Romeo banished for revenge. A desperate plan to reunite the lovers goes wrong, and the story ends with both Romeo and Juliet dying, a tragedy that finally shocks their families into peace.
