Ballet Companies in Sarasota

Sarasota is home to a major professional ballet company. Here is the spotlight, plus how to see them.

The Sarasota Ballet

Sarasota, Florida · Founded 1987

If you love Frederick Ashton, this is kind of your mecca in America. The Sarasota Ballet holds the largest collection of Ashton's works outside the UK, which is a wild thing for a company in a Florida beach town to own. It has quietly become a must-watch for serious ballet nerds.
